Primary

All posts tagged Primary

I was watching Fox tonight while they were covering the Nevada Caucus and they mentioned the fact that the majority of voters wait for the general to vote. That bothered me for a couple of reasons, first I thought of all the complaints I hear about the choices we get to choose from, if that is your complaint yet you don’t vote in the primary, you my friend are part of the reason you don’t have a choice you like. Second are the Christian voters, if you don’t vote your values in the primary you won’t have a candidate with your values in the general election.

Bottom line is if we do our part WE determine who the candidates are in the general election and there is nothing the establishment can do about it but “WE THE PEOPLE” need to take that power back, we have let the Parties and the Media call the shots for far too long. I believe GOD will move when we do our part.

Most conservatives and libertarians do not care if you are Muslim, Christian, Atheist, White, Black, Gay, Straight or anything else. I/We will not attack you for it, I/we may disagree but we will not try to force you to change. You have the same rights that I do. The Constitution spells them out, politicians take an oath to protect them. The problem I have with politicians of both parties is they owe their soul to the people who fund them so they don’t care so much about your rights. As I said it is both parties and the higher up you look the worse it gets.

Our government has become corrupt to it’s very core. “We The People” must change that if we are to keep our rights and freedoms. They play the different groups against each other, take the hyphen out, we are not African-Americans, White-Americans, Native-Americans, Hispanic-Americans or any other hyphenated American, let’s just all be Americans! Demand our elected representatives uphold their oath of office.

My voice isn’t enough to make them listen, but WHEN enough people decide to hold the accountable at the ballot box, things will change. Again both parties are guilty of not upholding their oath of office. I can’t think of anyone I agree with all the time, there will be area’s I have a problem with so I have to ask myself if their stand upholds the constitution or not. What that means is during the primary season I generally vote for the new guy simply because I know for a fact the incumbent has sold “We The People” out and the new guy probably hasn’t done anything to hurt me yet, there are exceptions but as a general rule it works for me.

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11: “CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION, DISARMAMENT —”
HOORAY – 53-46 vote – The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution.
This is that brief, glorious moment in history
when everyone stands around…reloading.
Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known !! See below . If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46 “legis..traitors”… vote against them.
In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.  The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:  “To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”  The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.  The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.

The Senate Conservatives Fund has not endorsed anyone. They do say “Incumbent Republican Pat Roberts is up for re-election. Roberts currently has no Republican challengers. Kansas is a bright red state so the winner of the GOP primary will likely win the seat.

Note: SCF will not endorse Pat Roberts because we have a policy against endorsing incumbents. SCF seeks to identify and elect new leaders to the U.S. Senate.”

They do list a candidate on their list Milton Wolf. I like the fact that he seems to support The Fair Tax. He is a doctor and opposes ObamaCare, another plus. I keep getting the thought that most of the established politicians need a strong Primary challenge. Even if they win the Primary, maybe it will be a wake up call for them. Maybe they will start to understand that the American People are fed up.
