Vote Them Out

Don’t know if this really happened but it says what many of us think.

This is well written……. A very articulate letter sent to the two U.S. Senators from Washington State.

Senator Patty Murray
Senator Maria Cantwell
Washington, DC , 20510

Dear Senators:

I have tried to live by the rules my entire life. My father was a Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army, who died of combat related stresses shortly after his retirement. It was he who instilled in me those virtues he felt important – honesty, duty, patriotism and obeying the laws of God and of our various governments. I have served my country, paid my taxes, worked hard, volunteered and donated my fair share of money, time and artifacts.

Today, as I approach my 79th birthday, I am heart-broken when I look at my country and my government. I shall only point out a very few things abysmally wrong which you can multiply by a thousand fold. I have calculated that all the money I have paid in income taxes my entire life cannot even keep the Senate barbershop open for one year! Only Heaven and a few tight-lipped actuarial types know what the Senate dining room costs the taxpayers. So please, enjoy your haircuts and meals on us.

Last year, the president spent an estimated $1.4 billion on himself and his family. The vice president spends $ millions on hotels. They have had 8 vacations so far this year! And our House of Representatives and Senate have become America’s answer to the Saudi royal family. You have become the “perfumed princes and princesses” of our country.

In the middle of the night, you voted in the Affordable Health Care Act, a.k.a. “Obamacare,” a bill which no more than a handful of senators or representatives read more than several paragraphs, crammed it down our throats, and then promptly exempted yourselves from it substituting your own taxpayer-subsidized golden health care insurance.

You live exceedingly well, eat and drink as well as the “one percenters,” consistently vote yourselves perks and pay raises while making 3.5 times the average U.S. individual income, and give up nothing while you (as well as the president and veep) ask us to sacrifice due to sequestration (for which, of course, you plan to blame the Republicans, anyway).

You understand very well the only two rules you need to know – (1) How to get elected, and (2) How to get re-elected. And you do this with the aid of an eagerly willing and partisan press, speeches permeated with a certain economy of truth, and by buying the votes of the greedy, the ill-informed and under-educated citizens (and non-citizens, too, many of whom do vote ) who are looking for a handout rather than a job. Your so-called “safety net” has become a hammock for the lazy. And, what is it now, about 49 or 50 million on food stamps – pretty much all Democrat voters – and the program is absolutely rife with fraud and absolutely no congressional oversight?

I would offer that you are not entirely to blame. What changed you is the seductive environment of power in which you have immersed yourselves. It is the nature of both houses of Congress which requires you to subordinate your virtue in order to get anything done until you have achieved a leadership role. To paraphrase President Reagan, it appears that the second oldest profession (politics), bears a remarkably strong resemblance to the oldest.

As the hirsute first Baron John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton (1834 – 1902), English historian and moralist, so aptly and accurately stated, “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.” I’m only guessing that this applies to the female sex as well. Tell me, is there a more corrupt entity in this country than Congress?

While we middle class people continue to struggle, our government becomes less and less transparent, more and more bureaucratic, and ever so much more dictatorial, using Czars and Secretaries to tell us (just to mention a very few) what kind of light bulbs we must purchase, how much soda or hamburgers we can eat, what cars we can drive, gasoline to use, and what health care we must buy. Countless thousands of pages of regulations strangle our businesses costing the consumer more and more every day.

As I face my final year, or so, with cancer, my president and my government tell me “You’ll just have to take a pill,” while you, Senator, your colleagues, the president, and other exulted government officials and their families will get the best possible health care on our tax dollars until you are called home by your Creator while also enjoying a retirement beyond my wildest dreams, which of course, you voted for yourselves and we pay for.

The chances of you reading this letter are practically zero as your staff will not pass it on, but with a little luck, a form letter response might be generated by them with an auto signature applied, hoping we will believe that you, our senator or representative, has heard us and actually cares. This letter will, however, go on line where many others will have the chance to read one person’s opinion, rightly or wrongly, about this government, its administration and its senators and representatives.

I only hope that occasionally you might quietly thank the taxpayer for all the generous entitlements which you have voted yourselves, for which, by law, we must pay, unless, of course, it just goes on the $19 trillion national debt for which your children and ours, and your grandchildren and ours, ad infinitum, must eventually try to pick up the tab.

My final thoughts are that it must take a person who has either lost his or her soul, or conscience, or both, to seek re-election and continue to destroy the country that I deeply love. You have put it so far in debt that we will never pay it off while your lot improves by the minute, because of your power.

For you, Senator, will never stand up to the rascals in your House who constantly deceive the American people. And that, my dear Senator, is how power has corrupted you and the entire Congress. The only answer to clean up this cesspool is term limits. This, of course, will kill the goose that lays your golden eggs. And woe be to him (or her) who would dare to bring it up.

Sincerely,

Most conservatives and libertarians do not care if you are Muslim, Christian, Atheist, White, Black, Gay, Straight or anything else. I/We will not attack you for it, I/we may disagree but we will not try to force you to change. You have the same rights that I do. The Constitution spells them out, politicians take an oath to protect them. The problem I have with politicians of both parties is they owe their soul to the people who fund them so they don’t care so much about your rights. As I said it is both parties and the higher up you look the worse it gets.

Our government has become corrupt to it’s very core. “We The People” must change that if we are to keep our rights and freedoms. They play the different groups against each other, take the hyphen out, we are not African-Americans, White-Americans, Native-Americans, Hispanic-Americans or any other hyphenated American, let’s just all be Americans! Demand our elected representatives uphold their oath of office.

My voice isn’t enough to make them listen, but WHEN enough people decide to hold the accountable at the ballot box, things will change. Again both parties are guilty of not upholding their oath of office. I can’t think of anyone I agree with all the time, there will be area’s I have a problem with so I have to ask myself if their stand upholds the constitution or not. What that means is during the primary season I generally vote for the new guy simply because I know for a fact the incumbent has sold “We The People” out and the new guy probably hasn’t done anything to hurt me yet, there are exceptions but as a general rule it works for me.

The way “WE THE PEOPLE” have been controlled is by forcing us to be defensive. We react to what they do to us (what doesn’t stay hidden). The mainstream media does not report on many things we really need to know about, and when they do report, it has a spin one way or another.

The way to counteract that is to go on the offense! We have to be involved. It is a shame things have gotten to this point. We have a Republic not a Democracy, The Founders set it up to work well (provided certain types of people would allow it to work as intended), we have God given rights which the government has no business trying to take away. Pick a cause, network with other people, wake up everyone you can, and contact your representatives (they are supposed to work for you). If they don’t listen, let them know they do not have your vote in the next election, then follow through (if one person does that they ignore it, when thousands of people do it they may get scared enough to listen and when people start to carry out what they say even if they try to ignore it we get new people in there). They have been working for decades to convince people they have no control. The truth is, under the Constitution “WE THE PEOPLE” have the power, but we do have to use it.

The blueprint for getting rid of incumbents was given to us in 2014. Erick Cantor was defeated in the primary, which is really the only way. The incumbent has the momentum, the money, the name recognition etc. The longer an incumbent is in office, the more entrenched they are and the more difficult it is to remove them which is why it is important to defeat them in the primary. I keep hearing from people that they only have a choice of “the lesser of two evils in the general”, I say that is exactly why we need to defeat as many incumbents as possible in the primary, so we will have different choices in the general. “WE THE PEOPLE” need to send the message, we are done with business as usual. The Federal Government only has power if we are obedient. Time to show them who is really in charge, God gave us rights so let’s use them.

Now I have been accused of being all in for republicans. NOT TRUE, I am registered as a republican so I can vote in the primary. The truth of the matter is, I don’t trust the republican party, I don’t trust the democratic party, or any political party for that matter. I would vote for a candidate of any party if I know they support the Constitution, the Bible, Jesus, and want Freedom for every American rather that just one group, and I won’t vote for anyone regardless of party if they reject those principles.

The bottom line is, we have to be bold, speak out and follow through. Decide for yourself rather than let the enemy decide for you!

On Dec 11 2014 Congress passed a bill H.R. 4681. “The bill allows the private communications of Americans to be scooped up without a court order and then transferred to law enforcement for criminal investigations.”

To read the article check out infowars article

To check out who voted yes and who voted no check Govtrack

Based on the article on infowars I intend to be very careful what I say on the phone because they just made it legal to capture that and send it to the police so you can be prosecuted for it. I guess the American people need to learn to communicate like criminals since our Government monitors us like we are the mob.

I for one see a pattern happening here. If you are a Christian, believe they should abide by the constitution, are ex military, ex police, pro life or many of the other designations, our Government considers us terrorist’s yet the Fort Hood shooter and the guy who cut off the womans head get the label “workplace violence”.

If being a Christian makes me an enemy of the Government then I for one accept it. I certainly trust God more than any of those people in DC.

I keep thinking about this and the fact that it keeps coming to my mind tells me to comment on it. There is quite a bit of information out there, yet too many people don’t consider it important. For many years I didn’t bother voting. I had the same thoughts as many ” My vote doesn’t matter “, ” It’s only one vote “, along with many other excuses. Hopefully if you read this post and watch the videos and follow the links you will realize as I did that your vote does matter and if enough people will vote their biblical values things will change.

The first thing is John Hagee Ministries has T Shirts available saying Vote The Bible. I have ordered mine because it is a message to anyone you come in contact with. Order yours here Vote The Bible T Shirt.

The next thing is John Hagee has preached a whole series about voting biblical values, it was from before the 2012 elections but it is still valid today and time is growing shorter. You can listen at http://podbay.fm/show/461747136/e/1314745985?autostart=1

Again, this is from around 2012 but it does give you some information about the consequences of your vote.

Then there are things from David Barton at Wallbuilders

One Vote Matters

Thank You for reading and I hope it helps clear up the urgency I feel to encourage people to vote.

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11: “CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION, DISARMAMENT —”
HOORAY – 53-46 vote – The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution.
This is that brief, glorious moment in history
when everyone stands around…reloading.
Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known !! See below . If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46 “legis..traitors”… vote against them.
In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.  The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:  “To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”  The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.  The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.

I am of the mind these days that even with a Congressman or Senator who seems pretty conservative, if there is a new person who seems conservative, maybe it is time to replace the incumbent. Some reasons for that would be 1) Things are not improving with the Congress we have. 2) If they assume they will be reelected why fight the way “We The People” want them to. 3) When they realize they will be replaced if they don’t produce results they will start doing what we want. 4) Most will not impose term limits on themselves so it is up to us.

There are many more reasons but those are a good start. The reason the country is in the shape it’s in is we all got complacent. We didn’t keep an eye on them, as long as the politicians could make deals, take payoffs, be pressured by the parties and lobbyists, hide what they were doing with a media who didn’t do their job, they never paid a price for their actions. They keep passing laws that everyone has to live with except the politicians, don’t believe me, I refer you to ObamaCare. I blame myself for letting it happen, I blame Christians for not voting their values and yes I blame you too. We all have to share in the blame as well as work together to resolve it.

One person can’t fix it, one group can’t fix it, but if we work together we can do great things as a country. We all have to take responsibility and do our part. When we change our attitude, stop fighting each other, get our heads in the right place, WE WIN. It has happened over a long period of time. I know in my case I used to think my vote didn’t matter, after all it was only one vote. I now realize that is what they want you to think. I’m talking about both parties, the Democrats want to discourage Republicans and Republicans want to discourage Democrats. They then try to motivate their base. I say stop listening to both parties and vote every time. Don’t give them control. Make them fear the voters so they will actually realize they work for us.

I also stopped donating to the party. I now send money to the candidate I want to support. If you give it to the party then they decide where it goes. That is one of the reasons we get some of the politicians we have because the party funds the one who will vote the party line rather than what the people they represent want. Defund the party and you get more candidates who work for the people.

I got this off of facebook. It came from The Nashville Tea Party. I thought it hit the nail on the head.

“”Ok class, welcome to our course on Republican absurdity: Lets review events from last week:

1-Harry Reid and Senate Democrats just took away any power Republicans have to block far left judicial appointments. Look for a flood of lefty judges who will be issuing far left opinions for decades. And remember, the only Republican Senators who will stand up to these thugs, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul, have been roundly criticized by the establishment Republicans.

2-President Obama issued yet another illegal and unconstitutional edict changing Obamacare. Republicans fumed and fussed and did NOTHING.

3-Republican budget negotiator Paul Ryan almost broke his right arm waving the surrender flag. He said Republicans will not force Democrats to shut down the government by refusing to go along with a budget deal that actually cuts spending. Republicans will play nice and agree with the Democrats so no one gets upset or angry.

Enjoy your weekend knowing the Republican establishment in DC has absolutely no will to fight for principles we hold dear.

The other day I said “Don’t get mad at the politicians, vote them out”. It’s difficult to not get mad at them when you realize all the things they do to us. I still say “VOTE THEM OUT“, they deserve to be voted out and “WE THE PEOPLE” deserve better than we have been getting.

The news is as bad or worse. The politicians lie and the news tells us the same story. I say, don’t get mad at the news, change the channel. They don’t deserve the ratings and we deserve the truth.
