“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States” (Noah Webster in `An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution’, 1787, a pamphlet aimed at swaying Pennsylvania toward ratification, in Paul Ford, ed., Pamphlets on the Constitution of the United States, at 56(New York, 1888))

Now I remember why I don’t trust any politician. Today the Senate voted to proceed with the internet sales tax, oh they use terms like fairness etc but whenever you see a term like that look out because they are getting ready to shaft you again, the vote was 74 to 23 and I have a pdf available at http://votethemouttoday.com/pdf/internet_sales_tax.pdf

List of which Senators just can’t understand “shall not be infringed”.
I don’t know about you but I’m a little irritated with the Republicans who voted on the first one so the votes could move forward. Both of the Senators here in TN voted yes on that so they are on my don’t support list. http://www.votethemouttoday.com/pdf/Hall_of_Shame_Guns.pdf

This is for all the Christians.

I have been thinking about the state our country is in and I have to lay most of the blame on Christians and I include myself in that group. We have been complacent and not done our part in
holding politicians to the standards all Americans should be held to. We have allowed them to pass laws that remove God and The Bible from schools, that limit what is preached in many churches because they have been able to threaten the tax exempt status of the church if they don’t like what is said, they use the IRS to control what the Church says. I for one don’t attend a Church if they allow the government to dictate what they say. America was always special because America came about so we could Worship God mainly because we love Him. Israel was formed because God loved them and America was formed because we loved God. We have allowed the politicians to block our ability to Worship God and I say it’s time for Christians to stand up and speak out. We have a God given right to Free Speech, a right to Bear Arms. There are more but lets focus on those two for now. If the news media is protected under the First Amendment and they can say things that we don’t agree with, why are we afraid to call them on it? Why is it that politicians can pass laws that we have to abide by yet they exempt themselves and certain groups they like or owe? Why would we allow them to try and take away our 2nd Amendment rights and leave us unprotected when the government decides they want to take away our other God given rights? Yes I blame Christians, I read that only half of the people who claim to be Christians are registered to vote and then only half of those vote, if we all vote based on how we live our lives and hold the politicians to those same standards, how many of
them do you think would still be in office? I think the majority of them would be out of office and they should be. The Church is to blame also because they don’t speak about these things, they should at least explain it and let people decide for themselves, tell people to pray for guidance before they vote. God will have His way in the end but I for one don’t want to have to admit that I ignored my obligation to do all I could. So this is a call to action for Christians, ask God for guidance, register to vote, then vote your morals and lets take our country back

in Jesus Name. AMEN

The Senate just voted on letting the UN control our 2nd Amendment rights. I posted a pdf with their names you can download and remember who to absolutely NOT VOTE FOR. Most of them aren’t up for re-election in 2014 but we have to let them know we won’t forget http://www.votethemouttoday.com/pdf/Senators_Against_2nd_Amendment.pdf
